Swim Lessons

The Hermitage coaches are excited to offer swim lessons to swimmers as they learn to be more comfortable in the water and become more independent swimmers. The cost is $30 per half hour for private lessons and $25 per half hour for semi-private. The swim lesson fees will be billed to your Hermitage account at the end of the season.

Skill Levels

• Level 1 Helps children become comfortable in the water and basic water safety.

• Level 2 Builds on Level 1, introduces fundamental skills, such as kicking and stroke development.

• Level 3 Focuses on coordinating arm and leg movements and improving upon skills learned in Levels 1 & 2.

• Level 4 Focuses on stroke refinement, skill proficiency and endurance.

Pre-Team is designed to help beginner swimmers prepare for the Hurricanes’ swim team practices and competitions. It is intended to be less hands-on than private swim lessons and instruction takes place in a small group setting.
